COLTSWOOD COLTS
We are a football club based in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, Scotland.
We currently have 5 teams, 1998's/1999's/2000's/2001's and 2002's age groups. Our home games are St. Timothys Primary School, St.Andrews H.S, Langloan Sport Centre and Rawyards Sport Centre.
We are members of the Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA).
Our Club colours are Sky Blue ,Black & White
All our coaches hold SYFA coaching certificates, and have Enhanced Disclosure Scotland certificates.
We actively support any managers who wish to pursue advanced SYFA Coaching badges.
CLUB PHILOSOPHY
We are a non profit organisation with all club fees and revenue being ploughed back into improving our facilities and improving our footballers time with their club.
Our primary purpose as a club is to provide as many boys and girls as possible with the opportunity to play football in a safe and supportive environment. The club will never turn away a player from the club solely on their ability.
The club does not have a ‘win at all costs’ mentality and we believe that all players should be given as many opportunities to play throughout the season as possible.
The Coaches of Coltswood Colts believe football should be played on the ground. We work mostly on passing and movement, first touch, trapping and control, and 1v1 moves, and use the Coerver Pyramid for player development.
Our Mission :
To make the game of football as much fun as possible for the kids.
To provide all our players with the best possible training and equipment.
To make our club as safe and child friendly as possible.
To train all our managers and helpers to at least the minimum standard level as laid down by the SYFA.
To stamp out all forms of bullying and racist remarks.

A clear priority is to create a Football Club which is welcoming to all our members and visitors and an environment which is safe, secure and comfortable. To achieve this, the Coltswood Colts Executive Committee has an ambitious but achievable development plan for coming years and we are determined to see this through.Finally, we are keen to ensure the long term future of Coltswood Colts football club. This can only be achieved by your continued support and we are open to and would welcome suggestions to progress these plans.
